Each year, a theme linked to social inclusion, which is the raison d'être of the Korian Foundation, is chosen to select the candidate projects. For the 2021 edition of the Prize, the Foundation would like to award €15,000 to a socially useful action carried out by an actor of a social economy structure (SSE) that promotes the opening of an EHPAD in its territory.
As for the 2019/2020 edition, La Fonda will be our partner: an association recognized as being of public utility, La Fonda is a think tank at the service of the associative world. Through its work, it provides insights and tools to understand the phenomena at work in society, to explore their effects on associative action and to feed the strategic decisions of associative leaders and their partners.
For this 4th edition of the Prize, the Foundation wants to highlight the impact of establishments for the elderly by rewarding remarkable and original actions that are both useful to the users of an establishment, but also to the population living in the same territory, such as:
Access to public or local services simplified: the project involves the establishment in responding to a lack of local services in the area
Shared mobility solutions: the project involves the establishment in the construction of mobility solutions accessible to residents and the surrounding population
Solutions that promote access to health care: the project involves the establishment of health care / prevention services that are accessible and open to the surrounding population
Training actions for access to rights, to digital technology, to administrative assistance...: any action that promotes the inclusion of the elderly while allowing the creation of links with the surrounding population
