Nelly HERAUD holds a PhD in Science and began her research career at the University of Montpellier.
Committed and passionate about health research, she has broadened her fields of research by developing throughout the last 15 years numerous projects around the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases.
She confirms this expertise by becoming a Member of the European Respiratory Society and an Expert for several scientific journals.
In 2010, she became Head of Research for the Fontalvie Group and then in 2015 for Groupe 5 Santé, which specialises in the support of chronically ill patients. The group then entrusted her with the structuring and deployment of research activities for all its establishments. In particular, it coordinates the production and scientific exploitation of the work as well as partnerships with the industrial and academic sectors. In this way, it actively contributes to the recognition of this activity, which is particularly new in the private SRG sector.
She has also been involved in training, teaching at the university for the STAPS - Adapted Physical Activity course since 2005 and is involved in the training and integration of young doctors by supervising several university theses and by sitting on the board of the Doctoral School of Human Movement Sciences.
